CONFESSION OF A SHOPAHOLIC GAY: I hadn't bought the book THE CINEMA OF SPAIN AND PORTUGAL when it was priced 1601 baht at Kinokuniya, Paragon. But today I found that there was a discount. The book's price is 450 baht. So I bought it without hesitation. The book talks about THE CURSED VILLAGE (1930/1942, Florián Rey), SONG OF LISBON (1933, José Cottinelli Telmo), FAIR OF THE DOVE (1935, Benito Perojo), ANIKI-BÓBÓ (1942, Manoel de Oliveira), LAST STAND IN THE PHILIPPINES (1945, Antonio Román), LOLA THE COAL GIRL (1951, Luis Lucia), THE MIRACLE OF MARCELINO (1955, Ladislao Vajda), MAIN STREET (1956, Juan Antonio Bardem), THE LAST TORCH SONG (1957, Juan de Orduña), STRANGE JOURNEY (1964, Fernando Fernán Gómez), etc.
