On the other hand, there are some teachers I like very much, including Gattiga Tangtanaganont, who was the class teacher when I was in Grade 9. She is one of the most sensible teachers in my life.
Another favorite teacher is Sonthaya Subyen. He unintentionally turns me into a cinephile. If I hadn't known him in the late 1990's, I might not have been a cinephile like this.
Sonthaya doesn't teach me directly. He teaches us indirectly by curating many film programs at his cinematheque and publishes some film books. Attending his film programs, reading his books, and talking to him influence me a lot.
If there had been no Sonthaya Subyen, there may not have been "MdS" at the Bioscope Webboard or "Celinejulie" at Limitless Cinema blog. So for the Teacher's Day today, I would like to pay a respect to Sonthaya. :-)

เป็นเกียรติอย่างสูงครับผม แม้จะยังงง ๆ ว่าหน้าอย่างนี้จะไปเป็นครูที่ดีกับใครได้บ้างไหม เคยคิดว่าจะเป็นครูที่ได้เรื่องได้ราว เตรียมงานสอนดี ๆ แบบที่เต้หรือธีปนันท์น่าจะทำได้ดีกว่าได้บ้างไหม น่าจะไม่ใช่ง่าย ๆ เลยการเป็นครูที่ดีเนี่ย แล้วชีวิตพี่เองก็ไม่เคยเจอครูคีทติ้งกับเขาเสียด้วย ส่วนครูที่ฝังใจก็อยากจะกลับไปหักคอมันเสียมากกว่า
ยังไงถ้าใครก็ตามมองพี่เป็นครูก็ซาบซึ้งและขอขอบคุณมาก ๆ แต่่เหนืออื่นใดก็ยังต้องบอกว่า การมีศิษย์ดี ๆ ชั้นเลิศนั้นเป็นบุญยิ่งกว่า และตัวลูกศิษย์เองก็สามารถงอกงามไปได้ไกลกว่าครูเสมอในทุกกรณี (ดูตัวอย่างของผู้กำกับที่โอสุและคุโรซาว่าไปฝึกงาน) การได้เห็นต้นไม้เติบโตไปสร้างสิ่งดี ๆ อื่น ๆ ต่อไปอย่างแข็งแรงมากขึ้นนั้นน่าปลื้มใจไม่ยิ่งหย่อนไปกว่ากัน ดังนั้นสิ่งที่ จิตร ชาย และอีกหลายคนกำลังมุ่งหน้าหมกมุ่นอยู่นี้ คงเป็นการแนะแนวแบบทางตรงทางอ้อมให้เด็กรุ่นใหม่อีกหลายคนให้อยากดููหนังมากขึ้นอีกจมโข อิจฉาอย่างหนึ่งที่รุ่นพี่มันขาดกลุ่มคนดูที่คึกคักแบบรุ่นนี้ อยากเกิดใหม่ยุคนี้บ้างเนอะ
สำหรับพี่แล้วกำลังพยายามหวนคืนสู่เจตนารมณ์เดิมแห่งการทำหนัง ไม่รู้จะเอาตัวรอดไหม จินตนาการกระฉูด แต่สุขภาพร่อแร่ แต่ยังไงส่งกำลังใจมาด้วยแล้วกัน โดยเฉพาะ "โครงการหนังลงแขก ปั้น 4 ดาวรุ่งนักทำหนังสั้น" ซึ่งรอแค่ทุนเท่านั้น
จิตรเองก็ขอเป็นกำลังใจให้กับโครงการทำหนังของพี่สนและก็ขอให้พี่สนสุขภาพแข็งแรงโดยเร็วด้วยนะครับ :-)
